COMMUNITY POLICING

Since 2016, the NGO Gender Stream has been collaborating with the National Police of Ukraine under the framework of Community Policing. Our joint projects aim to:

  • Train police officers in respectful, inclusive, and tolerant interactions with diverse population groups, including LGBTQI+ individuals.
  • Cooperate on preventing, responding to, and countering crimes of intolerance and gender-based violence.
  • Work together to improve security in various regions of Ukraine.
  • Conduct educational and informational campaigns to enhance police-community interactions.
  • Ensure the safe conduct of human rights and educational events.
