On November 30-December 1, Gender Stream held a training session on “Public Participation in the Lawmaking Process” in Kyiv.
The event brought together 15 participants from different cities of Ukraine. Over the course of two days, they worked in groups, participated in practical sessions, interactive exercises, and meaningful discussions.
“The main focus was on ensuring that everyone gained not only useful theoretical knowledge, but also confidence in applying these tools in their future activities,” comments Anna Savchynska, Operations Director of Gender Stream.
The event was a great opportunity to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations to influence socially important decisions and interact more effectively with government authorities.
This event was created with the support of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. The content of the material does not necessarily reflect the views of these organizations.
