With our work, we respond to the current conflict in Eastern Europe, which by its scope and nature demonstrates the long-lasting tension between the East and the West of Europe. We can see its effects, for example, in the issue of the standard of living of the inhabitants of Europe, human dignity and respect for human rights.
The uncertain situation of LGBT+ people in Hungary, the LGBT+ free zones in Poland or the absence of legal recognition of the relationships of LGBT+ people further east are only visible indicators of the complex latent situation of LGBT+ people in these countries. We therefore decided to provide support to LGBT+ people who come to the Czech Republic. For LGBT+ refugees and migrants we can help arrange housing, food, basic social counseling and crisis intervention.
Also we are in contact with other queer friendly organisations across the Czech Republic.
