CO “Insha” was registered in 2014 in Kherson as a feminist LGBT inclusive organization.
The purpose with which the organization was created is solidarity and consolidation of the efforts of feminists and LBTQ activists in the fight for equal rights, gender equality and non-discrimination based on sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

- Promoting the elimination of inequality in all its manifestations.
During our existence, we have successfully implemented more than 30 grant projects aimed at protecting the rights of women and the rights of LGBT people, the donors of which were the Ukrainian Women’s Fund, the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, the “Allies in Action” Small Initiatives Support Fund, the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, NDI, COC Netherlands, the Embassy of Austria in Ukraine, the Center for Women’s Perspectives, and others.
We provided assistance to LGBT people and women in occupied Kherson, including assistance with the purchase of food, medicine, and basic necessities, assistance with leaving the occupied territory, and psychological assistance.
After the de-occupation, we continue our humanitarian activities, as well as collect cases of war crimes against women and LGBT people, document the events of the occupation, and carry out cultural and advocacy projects.
In addition to the main location in Kherson, the organization has representative offices in: Kyiv, Kropyvnytskyi.
