Human Rights Academy 2.0
by Gender Stream:

A Wave of Change
That Starts With You

What Are We Aiming
to Achieve?

Strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian activists through new knowledge and skills.
Provide participants with practical tools for advocacy, teamwork, project management, and crisis situations.
Create a supportive environment where new initiatives and partnerships can emerge.

What is
Human Rights Academy 2.0?

Human Rights Academy 2.0 is an educational program designed for activists who are not only eager to talk about change but also committed to implementing it in practice. It is a space where individuals working in human rights, gender equality, and social activism gain knowledge, tools, and inspiration for action, as well as the opportunity to bring their projects to life.
We provide the chance to learn in a community of like-minded individuals, receive mentorship from experts in human rights advocacy, management, crisis security, and media activism, and become part of a network of people who are driving change forward.

What’s New
in Human Rights Academy 2.0?

The previous session of Human Rights Academy 2024 became a real catalyst for many activists. During their participation, they immersed themselves in an intensive program of training sessions, workshops, and brainstorming. The Academy also included a series of webinars, after which participants not only developed their ideas but also implemented their own projects under the mentorship of our team.

What Will
Participants Gain?

Expert knowledge and practical skills — training, workshops, and practical exercises from experienced human rights defenders and managers.
Tools to implement your own initiatives — understanding how to work with advocacy, media, and projects on an international scale.
Networking and community support — connections that can grow into partnerships, new opportunities, and long-term support.

We maintain a strong program, interactive learning formats, and the opportunity to create new professional connections.

This year, we are focusing on practice — introducing real-life cases, modern tools for project management, crisis response, and working with new media.

More freedom, more responsibility, more results. This is your chance to test ideas, step out of your comfort zone, and receive expert feedback.More freedom, more responsibility, more results. This is your chance to test ideas, step out of your comfort zone, and receive expert feedback.
