We are looking for an Operations Director for Gender Stream!

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Uphold the organization’s core values: humanity, effectiveness, and integrity.
• Ensure the organization’s activities comply with applicable legislation and donor requirements.
• Oversee project implementation and monitor compliance with grant obligations.
• Coordinate collaboration across departments (advocacy, communications, fundraising, technical support, etc.).
• Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Support staff professional development and foster effective teamwork.
• Develop and implement methodologies for effective process management.
• Be available for business travel within Ukraine and internationally (EU countries and other partner countries).
• Develop and implement the organization’s operational plan.
• Monitor and evaluate the achievement of project objectives.
• Develop internal policies, approaches, instructions, and guidelines, and oversee their implementation in financial, legal, and project-related matters.
• Review and approve grant applications, including their financial, legal, and project components.
• Develop and implement internal and public reporting systems.
• Contribute to team building, development, and mentoring.
• Coordinate and mentor project leads and teams in project planning, budgeting, and implementation in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of management experience in the non-governmental (NGO) sector.
• Proven experience in project management and cross-functional team coordination.
• Strong understanding of human rights, feminism, LGBTQI+, and humanitarian response.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to make decisions in uncertain and dynamic environments.
• Professional proficiency in both Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).
